I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live.I am hard pressed between the two: my desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better; but to remain in the flesh is more necessary for you.

O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!Ah Lord God! It is you who made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.
I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my supplications. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.O God, you are my God, I seek you, my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
“Abba, Father,” he cried out, “everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”Abba, Father, for you all things are possible; remove this cup from me; yet, not what I want, but what you want.
For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.Because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
He took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”Then he took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps. For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his steps.
Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you.Because you are precious in my sight, and honored, and I love you, I give people in return for you, nations in exchange for your life.

And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows. And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we abound in love for you.
Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing. We must always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of everyone of you for one another is increasing.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.
For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours. For I am longing to see you so that I may share with you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— or rather so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.

But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been a fortress for me and a refuge in the day of my distress.
