| So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith. | So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith. |
| And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we abound in love for you. | May the Lord make you to increase and abound in love toward one another and toward all men, even as we also do toward you. |
| The vine withers, the fig tree droops. Pomegranate, palm, and apple— all the trees of the field are dried up; surely, joy withers away among the people. | The vine has dried up, and the fig tree withered— the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all of the trees of the field are withered; for joy has withered away from the sons of men. |
