Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
My child, if your heart is wise, my own heart will rejoice!My son, if your heart is wise, My own heart also will be glad.
But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of God’s grace.
Hear my prayer, O Lord! Listen to my cries for help! Don’t ignore my tears. For I am your guest— a traveler passing through, as my ancestors were before me.Hear my prayer, Lord, and listen to my cry for help; Do not be silent to my tears; For I am a stranger with You, One who lives abroad, like all my fathers.
Come and listen to my counsel. I’ll share my heart with you and make you wise.Turn to my rebuke, Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.
And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.And I will put My Spirit within you and bring it about that you walk in My statutes, and are careful and follow My ordinances.
But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.In my distress I called upon the Lord, And cried to my God for help; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry for help before Him came into His ears.
Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him.
God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.God makes a home for the lonely; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity, Only the rebellious live in parched lands.
I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him.My soul waits in silence for God alone; From Him comes my salvation.
Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything.As sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.
When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long.When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away Through my groaning all day long.
Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.My soul, wait in silence for God alone, For my hope is from Him.
When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.I acknowledged my sin to You, And I did not hide my guilt; I said, “I will confess my wrongdoings to the Lord”; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah
You must keep my Sabbath days of rest and show reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.You shall keep My Sabbaths and revere My sanctuary; I am the Lord.
Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!Why are you in despair, my soul? And why are you restless within me? Wait for God, for I will again praise Him For the help of His presence, my God.
The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom should I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom should I dread?
You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh.Lord, all my desire is before You; And my sighing is not hidden from You.
Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!Even if the fig tree does not blossom, And there is no fruit on the vines, If the yield of the olive fails, And the fields produce no food, Even if the flock disappears from the fold, And there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will triumph in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.But You, Lord, are a shield around me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head.
But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul.
When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.
You are my rock and my fortress. For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger.For You are my rock and my fortress; For the sake of Your name You will lead me and guide me.
If you love me, obey my commandments.If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.”“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
