Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. | But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive! |
If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. | When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. |
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I wait for Him.” | I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” |
But You, Lord, are a shield around me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head. | But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. |
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. | “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.” |
My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. | When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father. |
