| Your statutes are my everlasting heritage; they are the very joy of my heart. | Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, For they are the rejoicing of my heart. |

| Listen, my son, and take my words to heart, and the years of your life will be multiplied. | Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, And the years of your life will be many. |
