Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God.
When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.In the multitude of my thoughts within me, your comforts delight my soul.
By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.
For you are my rock and my fortress; and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me.For you are my rock and my fortress, therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me.
My times are in your hand; rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors!My times are in your hand. Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.

Hear, my son, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.Listen, my son, and receive my sayings. The years of your life will be many.
