However, now that you have been freed from sin and bound to the service of God, the benefit you receive is sanctification, and the end is eternal life. Hence, as sin’s reign resulted in death, so the grace of God also might reign through righteousness resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:21	So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. sin grace eternal life
If a man has recently been married, he is not to go off to battle nor have any other duty laid on him. He will be free to stay at home for one year so that he can bring happiness to the wife whom he has married. Not because of any righteous deeds on our part but because of his mercy, he saved us through the bath of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. Jesus addressed them once again, saying, “I am the light of the world. The one who follows me will never walk in darkness. My son, do not forget my teaching, but cherish my commandments in your heart, for they will bring you length of days, more years of life, and an abundance of prosperity. The one who sows in his flesh will reap a harvest of corruption, but the one who sows in the Spirit will reap from the Spirit the reward of eternal life. Galatians 6:8	Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. His divine power has bestowed on us everything that is necessary for life and for devotion through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue. 2 Peter 1:3	By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. Blessed is the man who perseveres when he is tempted, for when he has been proven, he will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your noble confession of faith in the presence of many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12	Fight the good fight for the true faith. What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his very life? Or what can he give in exchange for his life? Matthew 16:26	And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? materialism life soul
Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For it is on him that God the Father has set his seal. John 6:27	But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. But whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never be thirsty. The water that I will give him will become a spring of water within him welling up to eternal life. Nor should you present any part of your body as an instrument for wickedness leading to sin. Rather, present yourselves to God as having been raised from death to life and the parts of your body to God as instruments for righteousness. Romans 6:13	Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. Whatever moves and has life will be used for your food. I give you all these things, just as I have already given you every green plant. You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God. 1 Peter 1:23	For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. There is only one thing I ask of the Lord, just one thing I seek: to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, so that I may enjoy the beauty of the Lord and gaze on his temple.

The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.
