Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me. Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me.Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.
You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things.You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name.Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.
You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh.All my longings lie open before you, Lord; my sighing is not hidden from you.

But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker.Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.

Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!
How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.
My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life.Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
I have tried hard to find you— don’t let me wander from your commands.I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.

You who love the Lord, hate evil! He protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked.Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
