The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Psalm 37:23	Our steps are made firm by the Lord, when he delights in our way. serving obedience trust
For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church. Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things. And that water is a picture of baptism, which now saves you, not by removing dirt from your body, but as a response to God from a clean conscience.
