I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. SelahThen I acknowledged my sin to you, and I made no attempt to conceal my guilt. I said, “I will confess my offenses to the Lord,” and you removed the guilt of my sin. Selah
You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. SelahYou are a place of refuge for me; you preserve me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.I will instruct you and guide you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and keep my eyes upon you.
For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness.For the word of the Lord is true, and he is faithful in everything he does.
He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is filled with his kindness.
By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and by the breath of his mouth all their host.The heavens were made by the word of the Lord, and all their host by the breath of his mouth.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love.But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those who trust in his kindness.
Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.O Lord, let your kindness rest upon us, for we have placed our hope in you.

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.The powerful suffer want and go hungry, but those who seek the Lord want for no good thing.
Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.Then keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.
Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.Shun evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry.The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.
The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.The face of the Lord is turned against those who do evil, to erase all memory of them from the earth.
When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.The righteous call out, and the Lord hears them; he rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord remains close to the brokenhearted, and he saves those whose spirit is crushed.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.The misfortunes of the righteous man are many, but the Lord delivers him, from all of them.
The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.The Lord redeems the lives of those who serve him; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.
Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.Put your trust in the Lord and do good, that you may dwell in the land and be secure.
Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.Take delight in the Lord, and he will grant you what your heart desires.
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.Commit your way to the Lord; place your trust in him, and he will act. He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, and the justice of your cause, like the noonday.
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!Wait quietly for the Lord and be patient until he comes. Do not fret over the man who prospers because of his evil schemes.

Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.Preferable is the little that the righteous possess than the great wealth of the wicked. For the power of the wicked will be overcome, but the Lord protects the righteous.
