| Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous. | The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous. |
| Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but he turns the way of the wicked upside down. | The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. |
| He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. | He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. |
| For Yahweh takes pleasure in his people. He crowns the humble with salvation. | For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. |
| Let everything that has breath praise Yah! Praise Yah! | Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. |
| Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers. | Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. |
| But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. | But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. |
| Salvation belongs to Yahweh. May your blessing be on your people. Selah. | Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. |
| In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you alone, Yahweh, make me live in safety. | I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. |

| What is man, that you think of him? What is the son of man, that you care for him? | What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? |
| I will give thanks to Yahweh with my whole heart. I will tell of all your marvelous works. | I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. |

| Yahweh will also be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble. | The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. |
| Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you. | And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. |
| Arise, Yahweh! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless. | Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. |
| But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to Yahweh, because he has been good to me. | But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me. |
| He who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart; he who doesn’t slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor casts slurs against his fellow man. | He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. |
