| Do not nurse hatred in your heart for any of your relatives. Confront people directly so you will not be held guilty for their sin. | See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good to each other and to all people. | See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all. |
| Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant. | For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. |
| Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way.
