| Urge slaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be pleasing, not argumentative, not stealing, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect. | Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. |

| Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, Lord, We have waited for You eagerly; Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls. | Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee. |
| Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. | Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. |

| Keep deception and lies far from me, Give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the food that is my portion. | Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me. |
| “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. | For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. |
| These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. | These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. |
| But I have trusted in Your faithfulness; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, Because He has looked after me. | But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me. |
| Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me. | Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. |
