True love (3/4)

With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.
For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we are to love one another.This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
In addition to all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.
And to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is much more than all the burnt offerings and sacrifices.And I know it is important to love him with all my heart and all my understanding and all my strength, and to love my neighbor as myself. This is more important than to offer all of the burnt offerings and sacrifices required in the law.
May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the perseverance of Christ.May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.
And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you.And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.
So husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself.
For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law.Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.
But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ.Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.
The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.”Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.
And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’Jesus replied, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.”
One who conceals an offense seeks love, But one who repeats a matter separates close friends.Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.
For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Opening his mouth, Peter said: “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him.”Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right.”
But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters.We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love.
Nevertheless, as for you individually, each husband is to love his own wife the same as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
