Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me.For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me.
The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, But those who deal truthfully are His delight.
Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.
But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
