Trust and obey (4/4)

But if a wicked person turns away from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.However, if the wicked renounce all of the sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is right and just, they shall surely live; they shall not die.
But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.Those who place their hope in the Lord will regain their strength. They will soar as with eagles’ wings, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not become faint.
Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.Nevertheless, do not rejoice in the knowledge that the spirits are subject to you. Rejoice rather that your names are inscribed in heaven.
Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith.The proud man’s heart is not upright, but the righteous man will live because of his faith.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; those who are guided by it will grow in understanding. His praise will last forever.

Though you have not seen him, you love him. Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?Does God give you the Spirit and work mighty deeds among you because you have kept the Law or because you believed what you have heard?
For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.All those who have sinned outside the Law will perish outside the Law, and all who sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law.
Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.Shun evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.The reward of humility and fear of the Lord is wealth, honor, and life.
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.When you call out to me and come forth and pray to me, I will listen to you.
And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments and statutes of the Lord, which I am commanding you today for your good?And so now, O Israel, what does the Lord, your God, require of you but to fear the Lord, your God, to walk in all of his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord, your God, with all your heart and all your soul, and to observe the commandments and the statutes that I am giving you today for your own good.
