Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation.As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.
See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
And in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.”Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.
He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart; who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend.He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. Because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.
And over his head they put the charge against him, which read, “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews.

If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
