Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Keep steady my steps according to your promise, and let no iniquity get dominion over me.Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.

You have not lied to man but to God.”But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
