Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Don’t envy violent people or copy their ways. Such wicked people are detestable to the Lord, but he offers his friendship to the godly. Proverbs 3:31-32	Don’t envy the man of violence. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help. Psalm 34:15	Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry. righteousness listening

So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. 2 Corinthians 3:18	But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit. For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil. Ephesians 4:26-27	“Be angry, and don’t sin.” Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil. sin anger evil
Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. Psalm 55:22	Cast your burden on Yahweh and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. reliability righteousness safety
Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they do. Romans 13:6	For this reason you also pay taxes, for they are servants of God’s service, continually doing this very thing. honesty money greed
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Soon I will die, going the way of everything on earth. Deep in your hearts you know that every promise of the Lord your God has come true. Not a single one has failed! So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other. Deuteronomy 4:39	Know therefore today, and take it to heart, that Yahweh himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath. There is no one else. God heaven world

So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.
