It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior, one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city. | Better to be patient than powerful; better to have self-control than to conquer a city. |
Everyone who hears these words of mine and acts in accordance with them will be like a wise man who constructed his house on a rock foundation. | Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. |
