| For Yahweh your God will bless you, as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow. | But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. | There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. |
| But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to Yahweh. | But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’ |
| I will magnify myself and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am Yahweh. | And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord. |

| Who “will pay back to everyone according to their works.” | God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” |
| For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it. | For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. |
