Word of God (2/3)

You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; your help has made me great. You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping. You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand supported me, and your gentleness made me great. You gave a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip.
So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart. My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart.
Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.
I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever. The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever.
I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope.
For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.Since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God.
He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death. He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.
The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced. As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful.
Therefore, tell them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: No more delay! I will now do everything I have threatened. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!’Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will be performed, declares the Lord God.
God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.
Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them.Get wisdom; get insight; do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth.
My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life.Hear, my son, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.

I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.
