You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports… Psalm 18:35-36

You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; your help has made me great. You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping. Psalm 18:35-36	You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great. So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. John 1:14	The Word became flesh and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only born Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. truth Jesus

But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! John 15:7	If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you. reward Jesus
Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. Proverbs 30:5	Every word of God is flawless. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him. truth protection
My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart. Proverbs 4:20-21	My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart. listening heart obedience
Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. Colossians 3:16	Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord. learning worship gratitude
God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. 2 Samuel 22:31	As for God, his way is perfect. Yahweh’s word is tested. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him. blameless protection
I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119:11	I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. heart sin
As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” Romans 10:11	For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.” faith reliability
The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever. Psalm 119:160	All of your words are truth. Every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever. reliability law
I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word. Psalm 130:5	I wait for Yahweh. My soul waits. I hope in his word. hope soul
For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. 1 Peter 1:23	Having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever. rebirth
He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death. Psalm 107:20	He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves. healing
The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. Psalm 19:7	Yahweh’s law is perfect, restoring the soul. Yahweh’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple. law soul wisdom
The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced. Matthew 13:22	What was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. worrying money temptation
Therefore, tell them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: No more delay! I will now do everything I have threatened. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!’ Ezekiel 12:28	Therefore tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “None of my words will be deferred any more, but the word which I speak will be performed,” says the Lord Yahweh.’ reliability obedience
God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful. 1 Thessalonians 5:24	He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it. calling faithfulness promises
Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them. Proverbs 4:5	Get wisdom. Get understanding. Don’t forget, and don’t deviate from the words of my mouth. wisdom understanding obedience
My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life. Proverbs 4:10	Listen, my son, and receive my sayings. The years of your life will be many. obedience law life
You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. John 15:3	You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. purification speaking evil
I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. Matthew 5:18	For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished. reliability law heaven
God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. John 1:3	All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made. creation life
So Jesus told them, “My message is not my own; it comes from God who sent me.” John 7:16	Jesus therefore answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.” Jesus learning
This is a trustworthy saying: If we die with him, we will also live with him. 2 Timothy 2:11	This saying is trustworthy: “For if we died with him, we will also live with him.” death eternal life reliability
I have not departed from his commands, but have treasured his words more than daily food. Job 23:12	I haven’t gone back from the commandment of his lips. I have treasured up the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. law speaking obedience

Moses remained there on the mountain with the Lord forty days and forty nights. In all that time he ate no bread and drank no water. And the Lord wrote the terms of the covenant—the Ten Commandments—on the stone tablets.

He was there with Yahweh forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread, nor drank water. He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
