Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent.
He who is slow to wrath has great understanding, But he who is impulsive exalts folly.One who is slow to anger has great understanding; But one who is quick-tempered exalts foolishness.
For in much wisdom is much grief, And he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.Because in much wisdom there is much grief; and increasing knowledge results in increasing pain.
Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding.Blessed is a person who finds wisdom, And one who obtains understanding.
