This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts.

This is what the Lord says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

Bible verse of the day

Give justice to the weak and the orphan;
maintain the right of the lowly and the destitute.

So we can say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not be afraid.
What can anyone do to me?”
