1 Thessalonians - NIV & NKJV

«Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is… 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18»
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
But test them all; hold on to what is good, reject every kind of evil.Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.
Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you.
The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

Random Bible Verse

The Lord your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.
