Chinese (traditional)And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.
And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. And though one might prevail against another, two will withstand one. A threefold cord is not quickly broken. If a man prevails against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. And where a single man can be overcome,
two together will be able to resist.
A cord with three strands is not easily broken. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”Next verse! With image
