Chinese (traditional)
A man of many companions may come to ruin,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly:
and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.A man who has friends must himself be friendly,
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. There are “friends” who destroy each other,
but a real friend sticks closer than a brother. Some friends play at friendship
but a true friend sticks closer than one's nearest kin. A man of many companions may be ruined,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. A person of too many friends comes to ruin,
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Some friends can lead us to ruin,
but a true friend is closer than a brother. Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.Next verse! With image
