- A friend loves at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity. - If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.
- If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.
- And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
- A man of many companions may come to ruin,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. - Do not forsake your friend and your father's friend,
and do not go to your brother's house in the day of your calamity.
Better is a neighbor who is near
than a brother who is far away. - But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?
- Let the lowly brother boast in his exaltation, and the rich in his humiliation, because like a flower of the grass he will pass away.
- If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.
- Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.
- Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
- Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.”
- You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.

- Behold, how good and pleasant it is
when brothers dwell in unity! - Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.
- Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.
- From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
- Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.
- By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
- Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
- For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.
- Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.
- All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.
- For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them.And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.Next verse!With image
