Ecclesiastes - NKJV & ESV

Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Do not say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For you do not inquire wisely concerning this.Say not, “Why were the former days better than these?” For it is not from wisdom that you ask this.
For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven. For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.
He who loves silver will not be satisfied with silver; Nor he who loves abundance, with increase. This also is vanity. He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity.
Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.
As you do not know what is the way of the wind, Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who makes everything. As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.
Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, And put away evil from your flesh, For childhood and youth are vanity.Remove vexation from your heart, and put away pain from your body, for youth and the dawn of life are vanity.
I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God's gift to man.
As he came from his mother’s womb, naked shall he return, To go as he came; And he shall take nothing from his labor Which he may carry away in his hand.As he came from his mother's womb he shall go again, naked as he came, and shall take nothing for his toil that he may carry away in his hand.
