- Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. - If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up. - There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens. - So then, banish anxiety from your heart
and cast off the troubles of your body,
for youth and vigor are meaningless. - Whoever loves money never has enough;
whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income.
This too is meaningless. - Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?”
For it is not wise to ask such questions. - Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor. - As you do not know the path of the wind,
or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb,
so you cannot understand the work of God,
the Maker of all things. - Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do.
- He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.” Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.Next verse!With image
