Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, and put away evil from your flesh; for youth and the dawn of life are vanity. | So remove sorrow from your heart and keep pain away from your body, because childhood and the prime of life are fleeting. |
In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; yes, God has made the one side by side with the other, to the end that man should not find out anything after him. | On the day of prosperity be happy, But on the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other So that a person will not discover anything that will come after him. |
The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious; but a fool is swallowed by his own lips. | Words from the mouth of a wise person are gracious, while the lips of a fool consume him. |
