Ezra 8 - NLT & NCB

So we fasted and earnestly prayed that our God would take care of us, and he heard our prayer.

Therefore, we fasted and prayed to God to grant us a safe journey, and he answered our prayer.

May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us or abandon us.

But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”
