| Through faith you are all children of God in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves in Christ. | For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. |
| For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may attain eternal life. | For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. |

| Thus there are three things that endure: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love. | And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. |

| Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. | He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. |

| With our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. | In view of all this, you should make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with endurance, and endurance with piety, and piety with mutual affection, and mutual affection with love. | And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. |
| Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, ‘Streams of living water shall flow from within him.’ | He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. |
| For it is by grace that you have been saved through faith. This has not come from you but from the gift of God. | If you confess with your lips, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. | That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. |
| Then Jesus said to him, “You have come to believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.” | Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. |
| The proud man’s heart is not upright, but the righteous man will live because of his faith. | Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. |
| When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.” | But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. |
| For it has been granted you not only to believe in Christ but also to suffer for him. | For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake. |
