You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess.Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.
Keep steady my steps according to your promise,
and let no iniquity get dominion over me.

The steps of a man are established by the Lord,
when he delights in his way.
The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him.
Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
“By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.
By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
I hasten and do not delay
to keep your commandments.
I will hasten and not delay
to obey your commands.
Do not swerve to the right or to the left;
turn your foot away from evil.
Do not turn to the right or the left;
keep your foot from evil.
Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever.
