| In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. | I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth. | I will establish my covenant with you: All flesh will not be cut off any more by the waters of the flood. | And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. It will be your food.” |
