| What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? | What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? |
| As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. | But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. |

| Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. | Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. |
| By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. | Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. |

| And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. | And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. |
| Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! | O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! |
| God shall bless us; let all the ends of the earth fear him! | God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. |
| To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. | Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. |

| God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? | God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? |
| The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. | The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. |
| As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God. | As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. |
| No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. | Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. |
| Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he. | Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he. |
