| What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? | What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us? |
| Yet I have been the Lord your God Since the land of Egypt; And you were not to know any god except Me, For there is no savior besides Me. | I am the Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt. You know no God but me, nor any savior other than me. |

| “And I will vindicate the holiness of My great name which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. | And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among the people, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” | And I heard a loud voice proclaim from the throne: “Behold, God’s dwelling is with mankind; he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and he will be their God, God-with-them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will no longer be death. Neither will there be any mourning or crying or pain, for the old order has passed away.” |
| And behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” | And a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” |
| This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of armies. | This is the Lord’s message to Zerubbabel: Not by force, nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. |
| You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder. | You believe that there is one God. You do well to assert that. But even the demons believe and tremble. |
| And to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is much more than all the burnt offerings and sacrifices. | And ‘to love him with all your heart, and with all your understanding, and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself,’ is worth more than any burnt offerings and sacrifices. |
