What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? | What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? |
God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? | God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? |

There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” | And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” |

And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. | To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices. |
