Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
As in water face reflects face, So a man’s heart reveals the man.As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.
The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings. The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”

Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man.Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
