Grace (2/2)

Out of the depths I have cried to You, Lord. Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the sound of my pleadings. From the depths of despair, O Lord, I call for your help. Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus.
One who conceals his wrongdoings will not prosper, But one who confesses and abandons them will find compassion.People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.
What is man that You think of him, And a son of man that You are concerned about him? What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?
For I will be merciful toward their wrongdoings, And their sins I will no longer remember. And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.
Nevertheless, in Your great compassion You did not make an end of them or abandon them, For You are a gracious and compassionate God.But in your great mercy, you did not destroy them completely or abandon them forever. What a gracious and merciful God you are!
For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.
For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf. For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him.
The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by the Law; you have fallen from grace. For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.
Then Peter came up and said to Him, “Lord, how many times shall my brother sin against me and I still forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy-seven times.”Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?” “No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven!”
‘Return, faithless Israel,’ declares the Lord; ‘I will not look at you in anger. For I am gracious,’ declares the Lord; ‘I will not be angry forever.’O Israel, my faithless people, come home to me again, for I am merciful. I will not be angry with you forever.
Let the wicked abandon his way, And the unrighteous person his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.
“And tear your heart and not merely your garments.” Now return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in mercy And relenting of catastrophe.“Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.
You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered. In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.

Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’
When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their evil way, then God relented of the disaster which He had declared He would bring on them. So He did not do it.When God saw what they had done and how they had put a stop to their evil ways, he changed his mind and did not carry out the destruction he had threatened.
