And My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.

For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate, and will not turn His face away from you if you return to Him.For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful. If you return to him, he will not continue to turn his face from you.
Therefore produce fruit consistent with repentance.Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God.
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.
From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”
Now go and learn what this means: ‘I desire compassion, rather than sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”
Come close to God and He will come close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.
Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference.
“For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live!”I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign Lord. Turn back and live!
“And tear your heart and not merely your garments.” Now return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in mercy And relenting of catastrophe.“Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.
I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!
So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent.God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him.
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent and believe in the gospel.“The time promised by God has come at last!” he announced. “The Kingdom of God is near! Repent of your sins and believe the Good News!”
I have not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners.I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent.

For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, God, You will not despise.The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.

Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.
