See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness.

Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.

For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
