Isaiah 51 - NRSV & NLT

I, I am he who comforts you; why then are you afraid of a mere mortal who must die, a human being who fades like grass?

I, yes I, am the one who comforts you. So why are you afraid of mere humans, who wither like the grass and disappear?

Bible verse of the day

But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”

So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.
