You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to… James 4:2

You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. James 4:2	You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. sin desires prayer
You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. James 4:4	You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. sin God friendship

So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7	Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. obedience safety addiction
Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. James 4:8	Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. sin purification righteousness
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor. James 4:10	Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you. God humility reward
God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor? James 4:12	There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor? law judgment salvation
