| And said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. | Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal. | Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. |
| The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. | The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. |
| I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them. | And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. |

| But when they saw him walking on the sea they thought it was a ghost, and cried out, for they all saw him and were terrified. But immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take heart; it is I. | Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? | Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? |
| Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? | Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? |
| Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. | Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. |
| Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.” | Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. |
| And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. | And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. | If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him. | If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. |

| Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. | Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. |
| As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. | As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. |
| So Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.” | Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. |
| And over his head they put the charge against him, which read, “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.” | And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews. |
| Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. | Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. |
| Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. | Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. |
| No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. | Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. |
