For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
And over his head they put the charge against him, which read, “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.
He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.
In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.”On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”
Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.
But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.
Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!
I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man!Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.
For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
And he sat down and called the twelve. And he said to them, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”
To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
