He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. | The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! |
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. | In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? |
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. | On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.” |

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. | Behold, I am coming soon, and I will bring with me my reward to repay everyone as his deeds deserve. |
Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. | But for that very reason I was treated mercifully, so that in me Jesus Christ might exhibit his inexhaustible patience, making me an example for those who would come to believe in him for eternal life. |
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. | I am confident of this: that the one who began a good work in you will bring it to completion on the day of Christ Jesus. |
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. | To anyone who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, as I myself overcame and sat with my Father on his throne. |

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. | So if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out there. If they say, ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For just as lightning comes from the east and is visible even in the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. |

For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. | For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so too, through Christ, do we receive our consolation. |
