| For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. | For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. |

| Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. | Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. |
| So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” | Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” |
