And I am certain that God, who began the good work within… Philippians 1:6

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. He sat down, called the twelve disciples over to him, and said, “Whoever wants to be first must take last place and be the servant of everyone else.” Mark 9:35	Then he sat down, summoned the Twelve, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to be first, he must become the last of all and the servant of all.” humility understanding serving

But even as he spoke, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy. Listen to him.” Matthew 17:5	While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud cast a shadow over them. Then a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased. Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory. Romans 15:7	Therefore, accept one another for the glory of God, just as Christ has accepted you. worship neighbor
What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man. Luke 6:22	Blessed are you when people hate you and ostracize you, when they insult you and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man. blessing persecution evil
He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! Revelation 22:20	The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! second coming
When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. John 15:10	If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. law love
I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Philippians 3:14	I press on toward the finishing line to win the heavenly prize to which God has called me in Christ Jesus. reward calling
I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death. Philippians 3:10	All I want is to come to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and to share in his sufferings by becoming conformed to his death. suffering resurrection
For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:5	For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so too, through Christ, do we receive our consolation. suffering comforter encouragement
When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Romans 5:6	At the appointed time, while we were still helpless, Christ died for the ungodly. sacrifice transformation
But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love. Jude 1:20-21	However, you, dear friends, must build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval. John 6:27	Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For it is on him that God the Father has set his seal. eternal life food
But Jesus told them, “I will be with you only a little longer. Then I will return to the one who sent me.” John 7:33	Jesus then said, “I will remain with you only for a short time longer, and then I shall return to him who sent me.” ascension
Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:1	As for you, my child, take strength from the grace that is in Christ Jesus. grace strength
May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. Romans 1:7b	Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. grace peace Father
Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne. Revelation 3:21	To anyone who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, as I myself overcame and sat with my Father on his throne. overcoming reward heaven
God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9	God is faithful, and it is by him that you have been called into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. calling reliability God
I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die. Galatians 2:21	I do not set aside the grace of God, for if justification comes through the Law, then Christ died for nothing. grace righteousness law
You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am. John 13:13	You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.
Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword. Matthew 10:34	Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword. peace world
Then he said to them, “Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me. Whoever is the least among you is the greatest.” Luke 9:48	And said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. For the one who is least among all of you is the one who is the greatest.” humility
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Philippians 4:23	The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. grace blessing
Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” John 20:21	“Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again. “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” peace Father evangelism
So if someone tells you, ‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it! For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes. Matthew 24:26-27	So if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out there. If they say, ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For just as lightning comes from the east and is visible even in the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. second coming

The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, then the one who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwells in you.
